People

Yosho was member of the Dajan's Kolat, a splinter sect of the true Kolat. He was impersonating the monk hermit who tended the shrine the Bells of the Dead. The hermit's duty was to ring the twelve bells each night, so the Shimushigaki, a powerful gaki destroyed there, could not awake from its slumber. His superior, Daidoji Dajan had retrieved the original bells and placed faked ones. Yosho had been bound to an oni and tasked to care the masquerade was not uncovered. In 1125 he was visited by a group of samurai who saw him one of the bells, the one with the name of Asako Hu Xiang, the leader of the twelve shugenja who sacrificed themselves to defeat the Shimushi. Yosho no Oni chose to take charge, tearing Yosho's mortal shell apart. The samurai defeated the oni, [1] destroyed the Dajan's Kolat and put the gaki back to sleep. [2]
