Yoritomo Furikae was a bushi standard-bearer of the Mantis Clan.
Relentless[]
Furikae had a habit of never dying dispite overwhelming odds. He was left for dead many times on the battle field only to pick himself up and return to his unit. [1]
Standard-bearer[]
Furikae was made the standard bearer for Yoritomo's army that invaded the Phoenix lands during the War Against the Shadow. Five times he was wounded by enemy archers and magic, but he continued to stand and hold the war banner of the Mantis house. [2]
Deaths[]
He finally died in the Morikage Forest when seeking the kidnapped Emperor Toturi I, at the only to come rushing out of Yomi in the Battle of Oblivion's Gate via the open gate to continue fighting for his clan, [3] to die again in the battle. [4]
