The Yodotai Chain Shirt was made of many links of metal riveted together, sewed to a quilted vest. It protected the shoulders and chest, but the stomach was more exposed. A white tunic and red cape over the the chain mail. It was used after the Sheel Kingdom joined the Yodotai Empire. The chain mail granted a protection against the blades, but it was less effective against arrows and lances. [1]
