Yari

A yari is a spear between six and eight feet long. Yari can be used on foot or on horseback. Because it is easy to use and relatively cheap to make, it is the primary weapon of ashigaru. It does see alot of use among samurai as well. The infantry of the Daidoji family are well known for their use of the yari, as are the Shiba bushi.
