Born: Unknown

Titles: Fortune of Stone

Yama-no-kami was the Fortune of Stone.

Un-named Fortune Edit

Yama-no-kami was one of the three so-called Unnamed Fortunes. They were ancient beings that predated the fall of the Kami, primordial beings worshiped by primitive man and accepted as Fortunes by Hantei Genji when he embraced the teachings of Shinsei. It and its two brethren, Kaze-no-kami and Musubi-no-Kami, were among the most powerful of the Lesser Fortunes. [1]

Shrine Edit

Little was known about it. It had only one shrine at the northern edge of what was Badger Clan territory. It was said only members of the Order of Stone knew the fortune's name, and why he decided to seclude himself so far from the Empire. [2] The Fortune used to dwell within the Shrine of Stone. [3]

Death Edit

Yama-no-Kami was slain in 1160 by Fu Leng with the Emma-O's Spear in the Invasion of the Celestial Heavens. [4]
