The Weaver Star was located in one end of the River of Stars, and it was named after Isawa Tanata, a weaving maiden. The star in the other end, the Cowherd Star, was said it was named after her beloved Akodo Ujihata. [1]

Alignment Edit

It was considered the "creation" by the Naga race, in opposition to the "destruction", represented by another wandering star, the Kappa Star. Every hundred years both stars aligned, heralding great events, such as the Great Sleep of the Naga, [2] or the rise of the Shadowlands. In 1123 the convergence happened during winter court, and that day the minions of Fu Leng launched a massive assault on Shiro Kuni, nearly obliterating the forces there. [3]
