Waribushin was a Phoenix system of speed construction. It was created by necessity, due to castle construction in Phoenix lands was a practical matter that was often ignored until the hour of war was at hand. Teams of carpenters, laborers, supervisors, and shugenja worked together, but the teams competed with each other. [1]
