Vasant Panchami, or 'calling Spring', was a Naga festival celebrated at the end of the Rokugani Month of the Rat. People wore yellow clothing to symbolize the mustard flower, which announced spring's arrival. The intention of the festival was to banish winter and bring back the warm days. [1]
