Utaku Tsukiko was a bushi Battle Maiden of the Unicorn Clan. She was considered a paragon of Bushido.

Skilled Rider Edit

Tsukiko was a cheerful samurai-ko, daughter to a late Imperial Legionnaire. She was appointed under the command of gunso Moto Taha, who protected a temple of the defunct Horiuchi family. In 1198 Tsukiko was in a scouting mission, when she wipped out with ease three brothers, bandits chased by a traveling magistrate, by the name Shinjo Junpei. [1]

The Last Horiuchi Edit

Shortly after she met the famous Matsu Benika, wielder of the Hand of the Jade Dragon. She took a cursed nemuranai which for years had been under the care of her uncle, Horiuchi Nobane. He had sacrificed a great deal to keep it safe for her, but it was time for the aged Horiuchi to rest. Benika retrieved the item, and shortly after Nobane passed away, ending the Horiuchi family line. [1]
