The True Children of the Mountain, or Traditionalists, were those Assassins who followed the old ways after the Old Man of the Mountain's death.

Founding Edit

Chandra and her sister Shala did not follow Adira, her adopted sister. When she became the Caliph they confronted each other for the leadership of the true Children of the Mountain. When Chandra appeared dead, her other sisters Jamilah and Faida backed Shala as leader. The Order was organized in independent cells, each consisting in four to eight members, with an appointed leader selected by Shala or Faida. They trained and recruited new members to refill the void of the lost ones. They attacked Adira, her Qadi, and the foreigner armies garrisoned in the Jewel. [1]

Memorial Edit

Once every year, on either the anniversary of the Old Man of the Mountain's birth or the Old Man's death, each cell sent one member to the abandoned Hidden Keep of the Assassins. [2]

Elite Edit

The Fedayeen were the elite couriers of this faction. They majority of them were men. [1]
