Tokui was the sensei of Yoritomo. In 1117, when Yoritomo was only ten year old he broke some of Tokui's ribs while sparring in the dojo. Were it not for Yoshitsune's intervention, Yoritomo might have lost himself in anger and killed the sensei. [1]
