Togashi Misuko, formerly of the Hoshi, was the wife of Dragon Clan Champion Togashi Satsu.
Appearance[]
Misuko was small and petite, with lustrous black hair and delicate features. [1]
Married[]
Misuko was born into a peasant family, and became a Tattooed Monk. Her nephew Togashi Kanmu decided to make his own destiny by following her. [2] Misuko was a distant cousin of the Scorpion Clan Champion Bayushi Yojiro, and during the first years of Toturi III's reign she married to the Dragon Clan Champion Togashi Satsu to cement the Dragon-Scorpion Alliance. [3]
Assassination Plot[]
A plot by the Kolat to kidnap her and assassinate Satsu was uncovered by the outlaw Kaelung, and former kolat member. Kaelung ambushed the assassins, killed them all and disposed of their bodies before they could even get close to Misuko. Satsu rewarded Kaelung by allowing him to rejoin the Hoshi family. [1]
Children[]
In 1171 Misuko was with child, and she was accompanied by the Dragon Clan Champion Mirumoto Kei back to the Dragon lands while Satsu had to attend winter court at Kyuden Gotei. The Dragon group was forced to take a path between the Northern Wall Mountains to avoid confrontation with the returned Army of Fire during the Destroyer War. Kanmu was sent to the Imperial City Toshi Ranbo to told of the yobanjin. Kei fell ill, and she feared it was the plague sickness, but Misoko knew they were pregnancy symptoms. [2] In 1172 Misuko gave bith a son, and her nephew watched over the infant. [4] The infant would be named as Togashi Noboru. [5]
