Time's Deadly Hand was a Mastery 3 earth spell [1] initially designed to demonstrate the fleeting quality of material possessions, but it was later modified to destroy such items. It caused a target object to rust and corrode until it was pitted and useless. Anything from steel to wood to paper could be affected. Nemuranai, jade, and crystal items were immune to this spell, since they were imbued with spirits of their own to protect them. [2] [3]
