The Nezumi of the Third Whisker Tribe are perhaps the smallest of the Nezumi in physical size. What they make up for in body size they make up for in magical power. Most members of the Tribe have (whether real or not) prophetic visions of doom, and are known for being rather pessemistic. The Tribe makes it warrens under the Kaiu Wall.

In 1130 after the departure of the Naga the forces of Fu Leng surround the Crab, oni, goblins and trolls toy with the samurai knowing there will be a long time before any help comes from the Empire. Only brave Nezumi from the Third Whisker Tribe help by bringing food, water and jade through tunnels beneath the castle giving the Crab the slightest hope for surviving the Siege of Kyuden Hiruma.
