The Temple of Ebisu was tended by sohei [1] who honored the Fortune of Honest work, Ebisu. The temple was secluded from the rest of Nanashi Mura surrounded by a tall wooden fence and cherry trees. Those not of the Brotherhood or the Eyes of Nanashi were not allowed to enter. [2] The temple was built shortly after Nanashi Mura was founded, and in exchange the sohei taught the Eyes some of their fighting techniques. [3]
