The Temple of Ebisu was tended by sohei ^[1] who honored the Fortune of Honest work, Ebisu. The temple was secluded from the rest of Nanashi Mura surrounded by a tall wooden fence and cherry trees. Those not of the Brotherhood or the Eyes of Nanashi were not allowed to enter. ^[2]
