Tamori Fuyumi was the sensei of the Temple of the Tranquil Fire, dojo of the Tamori Yamabushi school.
Early Years[]
Fuyumi was a beautiful woman born in Shiro Kitsuki as the daughter of an Emerald Magistrate and a samurai-ko castle's guard, both prestigious investigators. [1]
Training[]
Fuyumi dreamed to fight within the front lines on the battlefield as a Mirumoto Bushi, but her magical gifts led her to the Tamori Shugenja school instead. She did not enjoy the lessons stuck indoors in libraries, but Fuyumi paid attention to her lessons and after her gempukku she joined the martial Yamabushi in the Temple of the Tranquil Fire. [1]
Sensei[]
Fuyumi fought in the Dragon-Phoenix War until the Master Sensei of the dojo was murdered, who had chosen her as his succesor. Fuyumi became the youngest shugenja ever to hold the position of Master Sensei. [2]
Demeanor[]
Fuyumi had strength of character and her affinity with the earth kami was undeniable. She was very strict with the students and assigned punishments at the slightest provocation. Fuyumi believed that the Yamabushi were the future of the Tamori family and took her duties very seriously. [3]
