Tamago (False Nimuro)

The being called Tamago was created using the Egg of P'an Ku by Lion Clan Champion Matsu Nimuro and the shugenja Kitsu Juri in 1165.^{[citation needed]}

Within a month, Tamago had escaped and assumed the identity of Matsu Nimuro to lead the lion, leaving Nimuro imprisoned within the Kitsu Tombs. The False Nimuro led the Lion until he met his end at the hands of Moto Chagatai in the final battle of the War of the Rich Frog.^{[citation needed]}

Later, when Matsu Nimuro fled the Kitsu Tombs, he became a ronin and assumed the name of Tamago.^[1]
