Does anyone here have the Otosan Uchi box set? It would be incredibly helpful to the cause if someone could use it to help construct this article. I can handle events past 1123, but some in-depth material about the city itself would be awesome. Thanks! --HemlockMartinis 04:16, 30 August 2006 (UTC)

I have a friend who has it i think. I'll ask him if i can borrow it... --Majushi 10:09, 30 August 2006 (UTC)

well i just got WC kyuden kakita, and kosuga has been changed to yatoshin

It's tricky to write articles about the names of districts. It seems that the governors have the authority to rename their district at their leisure.Dapperdanman1983 23:25, 27 April 2009 (UTC)

Well. Yatoshin was renamed in honor of Yotsu. But his daughter married the governor of Kosuga. This is getting confusing... The whole Otosan Uchi page needs a re-write anyway, to make it more generic. Then stuff like who the governors were/are should be in the articles for the districts themselves. Hopefully seperate articles for the districts should also help clear up any naming issues... --Majushi 09:05, 28 April 2009 (UTC)
I was thinking the same thing, but I read further, and it says that every governor is expected to name it after themself. Some don't but most do. The problem with making articles for each district is that we could conceivably make several articles for the same thing using historical names.Dapperdanman1983 14:49, 28 April 2009 (UTC)

In the cases of multiple name changes I would suggest we have an article with the most recent name as it's title, then redirects of the other names to that article with individual paragraphs detailing the reasons for the name changes. --Majushi 15:14, 28 April 2009 (UTC)

I started clean up, and I did a article for districts. BTW, there some missing information, specialy in early history, and I will need some help there. -- Goshimo 11:04, February 26, 2010 (UTC)

You've done a great job so far. I've gone through the Districts page to try and put it all in past tense. These really need references but I don't have the Otosan Uchi box set. I have a mate who has it so I could borrow it, but it's not high up on my to do lit to be honest... Keep up the good work tho, and don't stress about doing too much more at the moment. Article is infinitely better than it was. --Majushi 16:19, March 5, 2010 (UTC)
OU Box is BIG... Each district is describe almost house by house. More, people living there. More history. And politics. Well, it will take a lot of time ;) -- Goshimo 10:19, March 9, 2010 (UTC)
I've borrowed it off of a friend of mine now, and I have a copy of the PDF. I'll try to get started on adding information from it sometime soon(ish). --Majushi 11:06, March 9, 2010 (UTC)
