Way of Scorpion, page 30 say that Kuroiban were established after the second rise of Iuchiban, in 750. The name of the first kuroiban appear - "Yogo Itoju, a young apprentice of the Soshi shugenja bound in Iuchiban's tomb" -- Goshimo 18:57, February 28, 2010 (UTC)

- No. But the structure of the story is : First rise / Second rise / Kuroiban. And it's say that Itoju was the student of "the soshi shugenja who bound himself in the tomb", and the bounding was to contain Iuchiban's soul after first escape. -- Goshimo 10:14, March 9, 2010 (UTC)
- It does sound to me like it's implied that the Kuroiban were created after the second rise. And that makes sense really. Feel free to write the pages like that's the case. --Majushi 11:03, March 9, 2010 (UTC)
