Death of Hantei[]
In Shadowed Souls is said that Hantei Genji looked the Thunders departed, and called him "the brilliant young Emperor", at that time. It would mean Hantei died in 42 before the Day of Thunder, or that it is a conflict between sources. --Oni no Pikachu 22:10, June 8, 2011 (UTC)
- There are many sources that point to Hantei's death in 45. It's most likely a mistake, but you could view it that they saw him as the "brilliant young Emperor" because his father had already been wounded at this point, and it was only a matter of time before Genji would succeed him. Put it down as conflict;
Shadowed Souls names Genji a "brilliant young Emperor" in 42, although he did not become emperor until 45. It is most likely because his father was already badly wounded at this point, and Genji's succession could have been imminent.
