Ten Year discrepancies[]

As has been correctly pointed out, if the Great Convocations were held every ten years then the tenth would be in 134, not 234.

If 44 is the First, that gives us two possibilities;

  • 1) The years 234, 254, 1004 are wrong. They're supposed to be 134, 154, 994.
  • 2) The years are right, but the numbering's wrong. 234 is the 20th, 254 is the 22nd and 1004 is the 97th.

I'm leaning towards 1). Clarification. It's a hell of a lot easier typing a 1 into a 2. Also, even i miscalculated the 96th convocation at 1004 and I have a degree in engineering. Thoughts? --Majushi 16:21, February 15, 2010 (UTC)

Dear Majushi,[]

Thanks for adjust. Maybe my not-so-clear english... :)

One note: you wrote 19th and 21st at Great Convocations instead of 20th and 22nd.

Thanks again

Yeah. I hope I corrected those. Can you say if you agree with number 1) or number 2) above. What do you think? --Majushi 01:12, February 16, 2010 (UTC)

44 must be the First (because: Way of Shinsei p.19: (The Rise of Monastic Shinseism section) "In the first council, covened two years after Shinsei disappeared,...") and I suggest the first option, 'cause L5R sorcebooks don't use exact dates. Exact dates are in the L5R/D20 mixed rulebooks. I have to think the editors might miscount the dates of convocations.
