I think that this story doesn't really take place in 545. As Tesaguri is born in 415, he would have died at the age of 130.
I think that the black scrolls part took place between 430 and 440, that during this period Tesaguri is hunged in traitor's grove, his spirit bound to a tree and he is tortured until the tree dies in 545. So his spirit was tortured for about 100 years... It makes you think twice before doing something bad.
- My thoughts on this. Having not read this section in Way of the Scorpion yet (altho I will when I get home tonight) this is all speculation on my part. The date of his death is more important than the date of birth. Either could be wrong, but the year of selling the Scrolls and dying at Traitor's Grove are more significant than when this muppet was born. I will check WotScorpion later and weigh in with a more informed decision, but until then I suggest it is his date of birth that is wrong. Not the date of death. --Majushi 10:16, 20 August 2008 (UTC)
