Tale of Genji , written by the youngest son of Seppun, [1] was a Tsukuri Monogatari, [2] a portray of Hantei Genji, son of the Kami Hantei. He was depicted as a magnificent statesman, and also as an accomplished poet and painter. [3] It was written in the 2nd century and an entire chapter devoted itself to a cherry blossom viewing party, when Genji met his eternal love, Doji Oborozukiyo. [4]
