Takashi was a kenku during the dawn of the Empire, and had a younger brother Mukashi. Mukashi told Takashi about a girl called Shuro who had gone missing from her village. Mukashi revealed a piece of Nothing and proposed they create a copy of the girl who he thought to be dead, however after creating the copy, the real girl was found alive. [1]
