Taisa

The rank of taisa designates the captain of a legion under the command of a shireikan. A taisa will control five chui and their troops, or approximately 5,000 soldiers. Taisa can often be sons or daughters of family daimyo's, put in this position sometimes because of their status rather than their experience. (Dragon p. 25)
