Sparrows were small wild birds. They were depicted in the Sparrow Clan mon and gave its name. The sparrows were patient and learned the ways of his enemy, but when they sensed danger they did not wait, they act. ^[1]

Sparrow Clan Edit

When several Crane members inter­preted Shinsei's philosophy as calling for a renun­ciation of wealth, they left the Crane and formed a new Minor Clan, the Sparrow Clan, tak­ing a more humble bird as their inspiration. ^[2]
