The Southern Commercial Port connected Toshi no Naishou with the rest of the Empire through the Itochu River. Luxury goods such as silk, spice, and artwork came into Naishou province at this port, paid for with hard coin, bales of rice, or the creations of the city's craftsmen. [1]
