The Sins of Lord Bumikari was a play which depicted a drama between the love of a geisha and the married Lord Bumikari. At the end of the play Bumikari was commanding his troops to storm the castle of his enemy, Lord Shubi. While his men are dying at the battlefield his wife confronted Bumikari about the geisha. Lord Bumikari must either commit seppuku and lose his army to Lord Shubi, or murder his wife and step out onto the field of battle to lead his men. The author forced viewers to determine for themselves the fate of Bumikari. [1]
