Shosuro Yudoka was born in 1120, three years before the Scorpion Coup, to Shosuro Hametsu and his wife Shosuro Mikiko. Hametsu used every resource to guard his two children, even going so far as to abandon them as nameless children to the Crane when the Scorpion exile to the Burning Sands occured. During the exile Yudoka was able to train in the arts of shinobi and became a highly trained operative. Upon the Scorpions return he was made daimyo of the Shosuro family. Yudoka was considered one of the most dangerous men in the empire, and only Bayushi Yojiro is known to call him friend. [citation needed]

[edit] Shosuro Nishiko
Yudoka's beloved wife was Shosuro Nishiko, and she was one of the Scorpions who remained behind in Rokugan in secret during their exile into the Burning Sands. During this time, she lead the non-corrupted shinobi of the Clan operating within the Empire. It was during the Battle of Oblivion's Gate that she finally succumbed to the corruption by the Nothing, and lost her identity, and since then she became a mindless minion of the Shadow Dragon. This is one of the reasons why Yudoka tirelessly hunts down all Shadow-ninja, wanting to put Nishiko to rest. [citation needed]
[edit] Favorite Weapon
Yudoka's favorite weapon was Pincers and Tail. ([1])
[edit] Shinjitsu
When the ten blades of the Fortune of Steel, Xing Guo were delivered to the clans by Asahina Sekawa the Scorpion Clan Champion Bayushi Paneki was weary to accept another blade from an Asahina. He charged Yudoka with guarding the blade, until it could be given to someone worthy of it. [citation needed]
[edit] Shadowed Tower
In 1159 the Scorpion Clan Champion Bayushi Yojiro became aware of an organization of traitors within the Scorpion Clan called the Shadowed Tower. The organization was led by Shosuro Furuyari, a returned spirit and former advisor to Yojiro, so little of what Yojiro tried to counter the organization. Later that same year he enlisted the aid of Yudoka, Yogo Koji and Bayushi Sunetra in a ruse designed to bring about the destruction of the Tower. Yojiro passed the championship to Sunetra who, with the use of illusions created by Koji, began ruling the clan as Yojiro. This left Yojiro and Yudoka free to fight the Tower, showing signs of progress quickly.[1]
[edit] Soshi Eiji
Yudoka was approached by Soshi Eiji who confessed to being an agent of the Tower in 1159. Eiji revealed all the information he had in exchange for the promise that his wife, Soshi Kiyo, would not be held accountable for his actions. Eiji was granted an honorable seppuku in Kyuden Bayushi in 1159, rather than Traitor's Grove, and Yudoka came to escort him personally.[2]
[edit] Death
While investigating reports of Kokujin's presence in Ryoko Owari Toshi in the Month of the Boar in 1168, Yudoka was murdered by Bayushi Shinzo, who betrayed him during an operation to destroy Kokujin.[3]
