Shosuro Kojuno was the sensei of one of the Shosuro family schools (it is unknown precisely which). He sent one of his students, Shosuro Kenjo, to gather intelligence on the Ide family of the Unicorn Clan, thirty years after the Return of the Ki-Rin. His student was somewhat less than successful. Kojuno sent letters to Kenjo's parents, explaining his death, and his own personal uncomplimentary thoughts and feelings on the Unicorn to the Scorpion Clan Daimyo of the time, Bayushi Tanjaro.
