Loyalty Castle was abandoned after the Scorpion Coup in 1123, but re-opened after the Battle of Oblivion's Gate in 1133. It ranks among the greatest of the Lion fortresses, and as the Akodo are not keen on creature comforts, most visitors find the castle stark. Within the castle sits the Yu Seido, the Shrine of Heroic Courage. (3E p. 293)
