Shiba Goriko was a bushi and champion of the Phoenix Clan. He was married to Isawa Ujeiko, who in 1123 was bedridden and sick, constantly tended by physicians in their house at Otosan Uchi. Goriko mourned his life with sake and geisha. [1]
