Shadow Dragon

The Shadow Dragon is the Air Dragon, which was corrupted at the Battle of Oblivion's Gate. It now controls the remnants of the Lying Darkness. [citation needed]
The Shadow Dragon cannot lie, but it is a skillfull manipulator. It convinced Daidoji Rekai to join the Shadowlands, and it deceived Iuchiban. Although it seems to aid Daigotsu, no one knows its true agenda. It has its home at the City of the Lost, where it commands its own family, the Goju. It also uses the Ninube. [citation needed]

In 1164 the Shadow Dragon convinced Daidoji Daimyo Daidoji Rekai that her son would fall to the Rain of Blood if he did not have strength of a purpose. The Dragon proposed that the thirst to have her killed if she was corrupted would see him through the rain. Rekai was feeling her age and was dying from an illness, so she accepted the corruption.([1])
