The Last Breath was the building where lived in seclusion the retired members of the Imperial Families until they passed away. It sat beside the Miya Palace in the Forbidden City. The Miya recorded everything they said after retirement, to be transcribed in the Imperial Libraries of the Phoenix. [1]

"Last Breath" Edit

When honored Imperials retired from active political life, they were said to take the "Last Breath". Their final day at the Emperor's service was celebrated in the location these elders desired, gathering every living person who had benefited from them. They could make a final request to the Emperor, which was always granted, only refused if it would case war or strife. [1]
