Destroyer War Edit
In winter 1172 Rokku decided his time for meditation came to an end. The Destroyer War convinced the time for action was returned. He wrote several letters giving his thoughts and left his duties at Bishamon Seido to travel to the battle lines, to teach, inspire, and fight. He was visited by the Kitsu Daimyo Kitsu Kiyoko the day of his departure.
Monk group Edit
Rokku was the member of his order to be selected to become one of the Seven Sohei. He was met by his cousin, now the monk Itoku, and also by his companions, Tokiko, a former Phoenix shugenja, and Makito, who said he was seeking penance. All the three had been moved by the letters written by Rokku. The group marched to fight the Destroyers.
In 1198 Rokku went to the Colonies, were the heretical Writings of Fudo were being taught by members of the Brotherhood. He met Dayu, abbot of the Order of Kaimetsu-uo, and convinced him to forbid further learning. The nun Gemmei and her followers left the temple to follow their studies in the Second City.
