The River of the Dark Moon ran down into the Shadowlands, splitting off from the River of the Last Stand, then out into the ocean. It was said that the waters were so murky the moon's reflection would be red. ^[1]

Flora Edit

Unwholesome plants grew along the river's banks and beneath the surface there were frightening monstrosities. Any human or oni that ever fell in never came out again. ^{[2] [3]}

Fauna Edit

Occasionally things emerge from the water, usually dying from the exposure to air after wreaking terrible damage upon anything nearby.^[4]
