Rikugunshokan

The rank of rikugunshokan designates the general of an army. The rank is given at the discretion of the Clan Champion. They will often be a daimyo's chief advisor and often their karo also. If the rikugunshokan is not the daimyo's karo there can often arise some competition between the two for the daimyo's favor. The Rikugunshokan can own up to two or three castles, with a shireikan in charge of each and a small army stationed in each. (Dragon p. 26)
