Ronin
Edit
Reichi was a gambler, a smuggler, a thief, and an information peddler who resided at Ryoko Owari Toshi. Through the information he provided to the city's magistrates he became a highly regarded member of the community. [2]
Second Rise of Iuchiban
Edit
In 750 Reichi was one of the first to see the Iuchiban's undead army marching toward Ryoko Owari. The city officers trusted the word of the relevant ronin, and the alarm was rang, mobilizing the city for evacuation. Reichin fought in the defense of the city alongside the Scorpion forces. He also was fighting in the Battle of the Bloody Retreat and led soldiers in the Battle of Sleeping River. [2]
Releasing Ryoko Owari Toshi
Edit
After Iuchiban's spirit had been captured, Ryoko Owari was still in the hands of his lieutenant, the infamous Jama Suru. The Emerald Champion Doji Daisetsu requested a volunteer for an impossible mission, to sabotage bloodspeaker's defenses. Reichin offered himself and infiltrated into the city, dislodging Suru's defenses for several weeks. He gained time for Daisetsu, who assembled the combined armies of the Great Clans and marched toward the city. After seven days of battle the city was released, but Suru had already escaped. Reichin nearly died when he took an arrow meant for Daisetsu. [3]
Hare Clan
Edit
He was granted the Usagi family name and Minor Clan status for assisting the Emerald Champion in defeating Iuchiban's forces. [4] [5] His lands would be the plains to the south of Ryoko Owari, the place where Reichin first sighted Iuchiban's horde. [6]
