May 18 The battle for Toshi Ranbo goes against the Unicorn, with their exhausted troops unable to successfully dislodge the other clans' entrenched defenders. Moto Chagatai manages to slay Kaneka, but is brought before a number of other Clans' heads. He is sent home in disgrace, with Matsu Yoshino vowing to stand in Shiro Moto in a year's time.[1]

May 11 The Unicorn breach the gates of Toshi Ranbo, thanks in apparent part to the Mantis Clan. Moto Chagatai engages Shogun Kaneka in battle, and is defeated, though a killing blow is forestalled by the dramatic arrival of Isawa Sezaru.[2]

May 4 The Baraunghar use magic to teleport their entire army to just outside Toshi Ranbo, throwing the defenders into confusion. The siege of Moto Chagatai has begun. [3]
