Persistence was written by Hida Unari, spending three years in its completion. [1]

Content Edit

It was the tale of the rise, fall, redemption, and death of Hida Kisada, the Crab Clan Champion in life and Fortune of Persistence upon death. The most striking part of the tale was the description of life on the Kaiu Wall. The most deadly threat upon the wall, the most dangerous enemy one could face, was silence. [2]

Gifted Edit

Unari gifted it to Kisada's daughter, Hida O-Ushi, who presented the novel in the next Winter Court. Her proclamation of Unari, a renowned blunt warrior, as the Crab's foremost author and poet was mockered by a Phoenix, who was cut down by the Crab Clan Champion. [3]
