The Path of Akodo, or sometimes the Path of Splinters, was the concept of marching in unison, developed by Akodo himself. He walked one hundred paces in a straight line, and ordered to lay planks across each of his steps. Then he ordered his bushi to walk this path together, four men abreast. They made each of their steps fall on each plank, and made each of them fall together as a group. Bushi did this until they marched as Akodo did.
