The Bloodsword Passion was forged by Asahina Yajinden in 508 on the Anvil of Despair as one of the four Bloodswords at the bidding of his master Iuchiban. It was given to the Crane Clan Champion, Doji Tanaka who in 510 abruptly confessed his love for an eleven year old geisha to his assembled court and then leapt to his death off the cliffs of Kyuden Doji. He carried Passion with him.[1]
