A Yodotai Legionnaire with a Parma shield
Parma was a light, small, and round Yodotai shield used during forced marchs, desert campaigns, inside cities, and by the cavalry. It was made with wood and reinforced with iron. It was effective against ranged weapons, but not in close combat. [1]
