Otaku Kari was a Battle Maiden married to Shinjo Yasamo and the mother to Otaku Karashiko. Her influence allowed Karashiko to enter in the Battle Maiden school and a future position as liaison to the Minor Clans. Kari died few years before her daughter passed the gempukku. [1]
