The Open Hand of the Lion Dojo was an Ikoma Omoidasu school, where the students were taught to serve both on the courts and the battlefield. The students after their gempukku lengthened the fangs on the Ikoma mon they wore. [1] The Ikoma Poets were also taught there. [2]
Appearance[]
The dojo was located within Kyuden Ikoma, consisting of three separate buildings, each one teaching one omoidasu discipline, those trained as courtiers, another for writers and chroniclers, and the historians learned their trade in the last. [3]
Sensei[]
The Master Sensei of the dojo was nominally the Ikoma Daimyo, who appointed a senior sensei to serve in his stead.
