Omiki was the Rokugani term for the sacramental sake. It was served freely and fresh from the barrel, which was broken open with ceremonial wooden mallets.  Sacramental sake could only be shizuka sake, a filtered sake using burlap sacks suspended over barrels, gradually catching the slow-dripping product.
