Ninja Saya served a wide variety of purposes. The most common ninja saya was substantially longer than the blade it carried, with a detachable end that contained blinding powder to be thrown in an enemy's eyes. Some saya had a breathing hole on the end so that they may be used as Breathing Tubes, while others contained a second, smaller blade in the false end that could be thrown with a flick of the wrist.
