Nakano is secretly considered a sacred ancestor amoung the Mantis Clan. Nakano was caught trading in forbidden gaijin goods and made ronin. He then led his followers against the people in the Crab Clan who had exposed him, resulting in the Battle of the Rolling Waves. (Wolf p. 44)
