Mushin meaned "no-thought" or "no-mind" and was one of the most important concepts in the dueling style Niten. It meaned to act without thought, freeing the spirit to become one with all the five elements and the universe. Some called this "kime" or "kiho", or focusing one's ki (life force). [1]
